These days you’d already experienced the huge proportions of NYC and its neighbourhoods, hope you enjoyed it!

Hi, Everyone. I work at the Brooklyn Museum and I wanted to invite you to come to the Museum on Saturday, November 7 to shoot the indie rock bands playing at our free Target First Saturday from 5 to 8:15 p.m. where we will be highlighting our special exhibition Who Shot Rock & Roll: A Photographic History, 1955 to the Present. The bands, The Beets, Grass Widow, and Crystal Stilts, have been co-curated by show promoter extraordinaire Todd Patrick, a.k.a. Todd P.

Post your shots to the Brooklyn Museum Flickr group and legendary rock photographer Bob Gruen, who is featured in the exhibition, will write about his favorites on the Museum’s blog.

I hope to see you here this weekend with your camera! Please spread the word. Thanks!

Thank you. I wanted to do something different from the usual shots, this because NY is one of the most visited cities in the world.
I live in rome, and even this city has got a lot of "typical" pictures. I like to try getting something different.
Thank you for your comment!

Not really something to see, but more of a tip.

As you’re not from New York, be wary of the ‘Service Charge’.

It’s essentially the tip that the waiter/waitress will put on your bill to ensure they get a tip. So, if you see a service charge, be wary of leaving a tip (as you will end up double tipping, and not many people will let you know you’ve done that).

Hello everybody, I’m new to flickr and to the group. I’m anxious to know what you think about my shots of NY. I’ve been there for the first time on my honey moon last august with my wife and I’m from Rome, Italy.
I was there with my Nikon D700 and some lenses.

I’ll take a look of already posted pictures!

Ciao!

Really? I’m not talking about digitally watermarking the file, but superimposing your name / logo on the image. An awful lot of work to get rid of one of those if it’s been done right. It’s a bit like a burglar alarm – makes the thief think it’d just be easier to go rob somewhere else…
